Pennsylvania “Construction Notices Directory” Filings Now Required

As of December 31, 2016, Pennsylvania jobs projecting at least $1.5 million may, at the option of the owner, have a Notice of Commencement filed in the new state Construction Notices Directory. If this is done, the subcontractor (and suppliers) must file a Notice of Furnishing on the state website.

BICA will check the Construction Notice Directory on all of your commercial and residential jobs. If a Notice of Commencement is filed, we’ll file your Notice of Furnishing for you.

Be sure your lien rights are protected with these new Pennsylvania requirements.
